The Punjab & Sind Bank has released the notification for Lateral Recruitment of Local Bank Officers (LBO) – JMGS-I with a total of 750 vacancies. Eligible candidates can apply online from 20 August 2025 to 04 September 2025. The online examination is tentatively scheduled in October 2025.

Apply for one state only. Proficiency in the state’s specified local language is mandatory.
Eligibility
- Age (as on 01-08-2025): 20–30 years (UR/EWS). Relaxations: SC/ST 5 yrs, OBC-NCL 3 yrs, PwBD 10/13/15 yrs, Ex-Servicemen 5 yrs.
- Education: Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university.
- Experience: 18 months (post-basic qualification) of regular service in Officer cadre in any PSB/RRB.
- Local Language: Read/Write/Understand the opted state’s language; language test before joining (exempted if studied in 10th/12th).
Salary & Service
- Pay Scale (JMGS-I): ₹48,480–85,920 with +3 increments at joining for LBOs.
- DA, HRA/Leased Accommodation, CCA, Medical, LTC & other benefits as per bank rules.
- Probation/Bond: As per notification (bond ≈ 3 months’ gross salary; service/ probation as prescribed).
