Total Vacancies: 13,217 (Office Assistant & Officers Scale I, II, III across participating RRBs).
Eligibility (Quick Look)
- Educational Qualification: Graduation for most posts; specific disciplines/experience required for Scale II & III (as per post).
- Age (as per notification):
Office Assistant: 18–28 years
Officer Scale I: 18–30 years
Officer Scale II: 21–32 years
Officer Scale III: 21–40 years
(Age relaxations as per Govt. rules.) - Language Proficiency: Proficiency in the local language of the RRB’s state/UT is usually required.

Selection Process
- Office Assistant (Clerk): Preliminary Exam + Mains (no interview)
- Officer Scale I (PO): Preliminary Exam + Mains + Interview
- Officer Scale II & III: Single Online Exam + Interview
Exam Pattern (Snapshot)
Tip: Prelims are qualifying; final merit is based on Mains (and Interview for Officers).
- Prelims (Clerk/PO): Reasoning + Quantitative Aptitude; 80 questions; 45 minutes; sectional timing may apply.
- Mains (Clerk/PO): Reasoning, Quant, General Awareness/Financial Awareness, English/Hindi Language, Computer Knowledge.
- Officer Scale II (GBO/Specialist) & Scale III: Single exam with sections per post (Reasoning, Quant, Financial Awareness, English/Hindi, Computer, Professional Knowledge for Specialist).
How to Apply (Steps)

- Click “New Registration”, enter basic details and verify via email/SMS.
- Fill personal, academic, and experience details; choose state/RRB preferences and exam centre.
- Upload photo, signature, thumb impression & handwritten declaration as per size/specs.
- Pay the fee online and submit; download/save the e-receipt and application print.
